What is your return policy?
Every MAJLIS mainline rug is hand-tufted to order for your specifications, so pieces are made for you rather than pulled from stock. Full details are in our Terms of Sale. If a rug arrives damaged or not as approved, email us within the window noted in our care and warranty information so the team can review the issue and guide the next step.
How long does a rug take, and how do you ship?
Most mainland United States orders arrive in roughly 8-10 weeks total, including made-to-order production and delivery coordination after final approval. International timing and freight details are confirmed by destination.
How do I choose the right rug size?
Share the intended room, furniture layout, and any key dimensions when you submit your inquiry. Because MAJLIS rugs are made to order, we can help suggest the right scale and adjust sizing so the rug fits the space rather than forcing the room into a standard size.
Will a MAJLIS rug work with pets, children, or high-use rooms?
Most MAJLIS rugs are designed around ECONYL® regenerated nylon, selected for beauty, performance, and versatility. For more specific needs, MAJLIS Bespoke can review construction, pile, scale, backing, or finishing details based on how the rug will actually be used.
Can someone help me choose?
Yes. MAJLIS is led by designers, and every submitted rug or bespoke request is reviewed with the intended space in mind. You can include room photos, plans, dimensions, palette notes, inspiration images, or existing finishes.
What happens after I submit a rug?
The MAJLIS team reviews the request, confirms design details, sizing, material direction, and any production considerations, then follows up with next steps before anything moves into production.
Is there an order minimum?
No. Order a single rug, specify across a full project, or begin with samples before placing a larger order.
How is a MAJLIS rug priced?
Every MAJLIS rug is commissioned and made to order, so it is priced by the piece rather than from a shelf. The figure follows the work itself: its size, surface, pile, and the level of detail or bespoke craft involved. Designers and firms receive dedicated trade pricing once their trade account is approved.
What are MAJLIS rugs made of?
Mainline rugs are hand-tufted with ECONYL® regenerated nylon, selected for daily use, softness, and clear color. See the ECONYL® rug guide for material details and the care notes for maintenance.
Can I order a fully custom or hand-knotted rug?
Yes. MAJLIS Bespoke opens up hand-knotted, loomed, embellished, and other methods built around your brief. Email hello@majliseditions.com to start.
Can I request samples before ordering?
Yes. Samples and poms are available so you can review color, pile, and surface in the actual room before approving a rug.
Is the Studio estimate a final quote?
The Studio estimate is a planning guide. MAJLIS reviews the final size, colorway, construction, destination, and any bespoke notes before confirming a formal quote.
Can you match a custom size or color?
Yes. Mainline rugs can be sized to the project, and custom color direction can be reviewed through MAJLIS Bespoke when the standard palette needs to be extended.
Are MAJLIS rugs suitable for high-traffic spaces?
Yes. MAJLIS will recommend pile, finish, backing, and material direction based on the room, traffic level, and maintenance expectations. ECONYL® regenerated nylon is our preferred mainline material, and Bespoke can adjust construction when the use case calls for it.
