What this warranty covers

MAJLIS Editions warrants each rug against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery. If a covered defect appears within that period, we will repair or replace the affected rug, or provide another remedy at our discretion, at no cost to you.

Our products are made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon and are built for daily use. They are thoroughly tested, and we stand behind them. Our goal is to offer the best products and designs for our clients and partners.

How to report a defect

Report any suspected manufacturing defect directly to our team within the one-year window. The sooner you reach out, the more easily we can help. Please include:

• Your name and the order or quote reference
• The approximate delivery date
• A short description of the issue
• Clear photographs of the rug and the area of concern

What is not covered

Because each rug is custom and hand-tufted to order, some characteristics are part of the product rather than defects. This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear, fading, or flattening of pile that comes with everyday use
• Damage from accidents, misuse, alterations, or improper cleaning and care
• Variation that is inherent to handcraft, such as slight differences in pile, color, or finish between a sample and a finished rug, or across separate orders
• Damage that occurs after delivery during handling, installation, or storage by others
• Issues arising from use outside the rug's intended environment

Caring for your rug as recommended keeps it covered and helps it last. If you are unsure how to clean or maintain a MAJLIS rug, reach out and we will advise.

Beyond one year

The one-year term reflects our confidence in how these rugs are made. After the warranty period, we remain happy to assist where we can, though our ability to repair, replace, or otherwise resolve an issue may be more limited. We will always do our best to help our clients and partners look after their rugs.

How this works with our Terms of Sale

This warranty is offered alongside, and is subject to, our Terms of Sale. Because MAJLIS rugs are made to order for each room, returns and cancellations are handled as described there. This warranty does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law.
