MAJLIS Aviation brings the restraint of a modern heirloom rug into that world: considered colour, honest material, and a soft underfoot presence, delivered inside the tolerances aviation requires.

Weight considered

Cabin floorcovering is drawn to hold colour and structure at the lowest practical weight, because in aviation every kilogram is accounted for.

Made to order

Bespoke colour, pattern, pile, and shape, cut to the cabin plan rather than trimmed from a stock roll.

Certification

Built to be certified, not just specified.

Cabin floorcoverings are flammability-tested materials. MAJLIS Aviation carpet is developed to be certifiable to the FAA and EASA cabin interior requirements under FAR / CS 25.853, so it can move through your completion or refit program without surprises.

12-second vertical burn

Floor coverings are evaluated by the FAR 25.853 vertical Bunsen burner test, with an average burn length that must not exceed 8 inches, roughly 20 cm.

Self-extinguishing

Material must self-extinguish and must not produce flaming drips that could ignite surrounding cabin surfaces.

Documentation

We coordinate with your completion center and DER so burn certificates and material data support the airworthiness paperwork.

Final certification is always confirmed against the specific aircraft program and authority. MAJLIS supplies material and test data to support your approved process.
